Simply e-mailing is sufficient, and payment (£15 to include all music and individual rehearsal CD) can be made at the first workshop from 7pm.

These workshops are for anyone aged between 14 and 90: those who can sing in tune and those who haven’t yet found their voice; those who can read music and those who don’t understand the dots at all!  Those who already sing in choirs, and those who have never had this experience.

Our Sing Out 15 informal concert was held on Friday 20 October in The Pingle School Hall, Swadlincote; the event showcased the varied repertoire which had been learned over the past four weeks.  The appreciative audience were treated to songs such as Born Free, Feelin’ Good and Fix You, plus songs specially written by accompanist Sara Kimber, including Magnum Mysterium and Beautiful Autumn.  Richard Jeffries, in his usual engaging way, created a warm, positive atmosphere for choir and audience alike.

The Sing Out projects are administered through the South Derbyshire Music Centre, a registered charity and in conjunction with the Derbyshire Music Education Hub)
